Summary/Abstract: On July 15, 2018 Bessarabian writer Nicole Dabija celebrates the beautiful age of 70 years, which is why we want to celebrate him through an article dedicated to the catechetical activity of the Romanian poet, prose writer, scriptwriter, historian, politician and academician. The present article contains a brief presentation of his life, work and public activity. The central part of the article is the confession of catechist Nicolae Dabija, where he explains his religious beliefs as a lay Christian teacher and a Romanian patriot. Thus, Acad. Nicolae Dabija puts the Orthodox Christian faith at the center of his writing creations. In the form of 9 questions and answers and a review on a conference held in a church, the writer demonstrates that he is a true lay Christian catechet.
