Pastoral Community Discernment: from Community Discernment to the Discerning Community

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the pastoral aspect of community discernment inspired by the principles of the Society of Jesus. It presents the basic assumptions of this process and describes his dialogical process. Indicates the need to recognize and interpret the signs of the times. Discernment, treated as a pastoral method, helps to sensitize the church community to God’s will and people’s experience, to make an evangelical review of life, and to recognize and realize God’s plan for the community.
