Summary/Abstract: In 1929, Sandu Tudor embarks on a journey of spiritual self-rediscovery to Mount Athos for eight months. The “visit to the country of the monks” marked him deeply, having, as he confessed, strong consequences in his later decisions. This time, we bring to the attention of the reader some very interesting stories, which resemble, for the most part, to those of the old-time hagiographers.
