Summary/Abstract: The subject of this paper is a case study on the conservation and restoration of decorative cups, dating the XXth century, from the Oltenia Museum collection. Relative high humidity and atmospheric pollutants are common causes of metals corrosion, including silver. The restoration act was intended to protect them for later use.
