Summary/Abstract: This text discusses a subject of special interest in contemporary historiography. Considerations regarding time are related to the essence of historiographical endeavors. Such considerations were often marked by eschatological propension, whose meaning is, of course, outlined briefly, with references to a certainly topical historiographical debate.
