Summary/Abstract: Based on sources in the Archives of Yugoslavia and the Military Archives of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia, as well as published sources and relevant historiographical literature, this paper aims to analyze the course of the border incidents between Yugoslavia and the Cominform countries. The paper attempts to answer a number of questions: What was the number of border incidents? When were they most common? How many Yugoslav soldiers lost their lives or were injured? What was the process of settling the situation at the borders?
