Pastoral Letter at the Nativity – 2014 –

Summary/Abstract: Christmas brings people together before the stable in Bethlehem where the Savior Baby, awaited by the ancestors of the Old Law and by the prophets, lays in a manger at the fullness of time. The pastoral letter describes some historical details of this event of the Nativity of the Son of God, born out of love for people, to save the world from death and sin. The magi and the shepherds, together with the angels, were the only witnesses, besides Joseph and Mary, who participated directly in the mystery of the incarnation, always updated in the Holy Liturgy and in the tradition of the Church.
