Summary/Abstract: In this article, we propose to delve into the procedures implemented in The Preface of the Negro’s Kamel Daoud to stand out of the norms in fictional creation issue. As a matter of fact, the author puts out a work that overturns codes and conventions by making use of unstructured or broken forms, which meet fragmentation and dissemination taste. From the disrupted spatio-temporal system to the “nonconformist” representation of the characters on the fringes, through the rebellious discourse of denunciation, or the dismissal of the historical referent, so many processes that take part in the making of a text “out of standards” marked with a break-up seal on every aspect: narrative, linguistic, structural, declaratory and others. As a linguistic act situated in an isotopy of the gap, the brutal dissident speech overwhelms the discursive space, generating de facto a textual violence, which wipes out the uniformity of the work. It goes without saying that, for the “avant-garde” writer, writing rhymes with breaking: the project initiated is an aesthetic and poetic mutation motivated by the desire to break away from the historical landmark and the dominant ideological, in order to build a better future both aesthetically and ontologically.
