Summary/Abstract: The article attempts to expose the soureces of Boris Pasternak’s philosophy in his novel 'Doctor Zhivago'. The parallel between Einstein’s theory of relativity and an artistic reflection of Berdyaev’s idea of personal liberty, death and resurrection is discussed.
