Summary/Abstract: Liudmyla Marchuk. Review of Monograph: Shabat-Savka S.T. Ukrainian interrogative discourse, Chernivtsi: Yu. Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, 2019, 332 p. The monograph presents a comprehensive study on the Ukrainian interrogative discourse, highlighting its intention dominant; based on extensive evidence, the structural-semantic parameters and functional potential of interrogative statements as its essential components are thoroughly described. The specificity of interrogative constructions in dialogic and monologic speech, in tolerant and atolerant communication registers, in various discursive-stylistic forms of the Ukrainian language is elucidated.
