AN ATTEMPT AT A LINGUISTIC ANALYSIS OF E. BAGRITSKI’S POEM THE ORIGIN

Summary/Abstract: Tho article of Aleksandr Finkiol, who was a Professor of the University of Kharkov before he died, was prepared for publication by Sergiej Gindin. The author analysed the poetic origins of Bagritski’s work. The poem is an illustration of psychic life, a peculiar autobiography of a poet, an expression of his fight with the heritage which attracts and at the same time repulses. The whole of the presented conflict takes place mainly on the plane of signs — linguistic signs and symbolic signs.
