Summary/Abstract: This contribution distinguishes the difference between errors and mistakes. On the basis of the new Russian primer. It is shown in the dialogue how the presentation of the subject matter in the textbook can prevent mistakes. Furthermore, the contribution to the avoidance of pupil’s errors made by the quantity and the quality of the exercisesoffered, as well as their arrangement in the textbook, is described.
