Summary/Abstract: The analysis presented in this article is not a standard description of dissertation reviews but it shows them in an unorthodox aptum perspective - according to the classical rules of rhetoric. The analysis covers both the textual level (inventio, dispositio, elocutio) and the communicational level, as well as contextual and consituational conditions – in order to demonstrate the persuasive character of the analyzed reviews, with particular focus on the dual addressee of persuasion: primary and secondary.
