Summary/Abstract: Education must to prepare for successful lives as adult citizens. Inorder to achieve that huge challenge, schools need to haveclarity about their roles, about the patterns of future needs, aboutthe teachers needs to selling the learning and making itirresistible.One of the most common criticisms aimed at younglearners new to the workplace is that they lack initiative. Theycannot solve problems for themselves and constantly need to betold what to do. So, the important job of schools is to ensure thatchildren feel that they are responsible for their development andthat it is thay who have the power to control their own lives. Themajority of children who struggle within the system do so becauseof an inability to understand their own feelings and afundamental lack of self-worth.The main objective of the researchwas to identify the degree of autonomy of the adolescent studentsfrom the studied high school classes. At the same time, the aimwas to ascertain to what extent the teachers contribute to theconstruction and stimulation of the autonomy of the students, bystudying the term of autonomy from the perspective of the imagethat the students and teachers have.
