Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the way in which the information concept is understood according to the research area or the real size part where the information processes are analysed. Regarding the technical domain, information represents a useful technical coordinate in optimising the communication system, the meaning of the message being ignored. In the event of human communication we can talk about information only if the message has a certain significance for the recipient and it is related to a purpose. At the level of population systems the purpose has the character of a supra individual law.
