Summary/Abstract: Purpose of the article. Nowadays, with the spread of the latest style trends in modern science, there is a need to pay attention to the fact that art takes on a significant rethinking. Therefore, the study aims to examine the glamour, as a new stylistic direction, and taking into account its essential role in the Design Research Methodology. The methodology of the study is to apply the comparative-historical method, by which the investigated features of phenomena in the XX-XXI centuries. The used cultural and axiological approach that highlights the glamor of the value system of modern society. The scientific novelty is to expand the concept of glamour, given its background. A comparative analysis of the manifestations of the above makes it possible to identify its compositional and artistic features. It is worth noting that today art objects are transformed into commercial items, where success depends on many factors, aimed at the ability of the artist to get the attention of the public. Conclusions. Glamorous interiors in today's society are a sought-after tool for demonstrating status: this trend is usually chosen by people who are successful, ambitious, bright, for whom publicity is a lifestyle, and the interior is a reflection of well-being and success. The article deals with glamour as a cultural and aesthetic phenomenon. It today manifests itself in various fields of knowledge. It traces its impact on the basic design (clothing, interior) and plays an integral part in the business. It is proven that the use of the glamorous trends in the design industry can turn ordinary things into desirable items, full of merriment, to boost demand and increase their sales. This is considering glamour as an affordable luxury, a graceful and intelligent style, extremely informative, and full of aesthetic pleasures.
