Cooperation of the STATE AGENCY of the Archives of Kosovo with regional archives after 1999

Summary/Abstract: Fortunately, in many countries, there is a growing interest in cooperation among archives, libraries and museums. Co-operation between different institutions especially those between archives, is of particular importance, as it provides people with easier and faster access to cultural heritage. Therefore, this paper presents Cooperation Agreements of SAKA after 1999 signed with the Regional Archives. In particular, it deals with the forms and methods of cooperation between these institutions. Establishing relationships of mutual cooperation with other archives requires and contributes significantly to the success and quality of the goals and objectives of each archive. In addition to enriching archival fonds, exchanging of literature, experts and experiences, which are mainly key points in Cooperation Agreements, it should also be noted that one of the main purposes of archival collaboration is to provide people with the opportunity to research archives with simpler and easier procedures.
