Summary/Abstract: Singers and teachers of singing have strong personalities. Whetherperceptible or not for the general audience, singers’ personasand their interaction tothe inner Self transpire in the act of singing and implicitly affects it. The artisticcommunication in the act of singing is today taught differently in various cultures.Starting from Richard Miller’sstatement: all singing experience must rely onpsychological climate and going beyond historic national schools of singing, raceinfluences and cultural preferences this article aims to bring on an ontologicallevel,common characteristicsof singers and teachers of singing, and their impact on stageand teaching behavior.
