Summary/Abstract: Our biopsycholiterary approach deals with the case of Sylvia Plath and works on the assumption that her diaries, short-stories, poetry and fiction come as one coherent, unifying body. We consequently drew on each of these sources in order to more adequately and more convincingly show that the poet’s thoughts of death are actually a never-ending line of both her life and art. Dying is for her, as she claims, an art that in the end she gets to perform exceptionally well.
