Summary/Abstract: This article aims to present the graduation thesis of a student from the TechnicalUniversity of Civil Engineering in Bucharest, a paper that focuses on translating a text from the historical field, more precisely that part in history that includes the war for the Independence of Romania, from Romanian to English. This paper aims to express the difficulties encountered during the translation, how the whole process of writing developed, the reasons for choosing this subject for the graduation thesis, the steps followed in order to provide the best translation and some conclusions about the entire experience of translating a specialized text using retroversion.
