Summary/Abstract: The paper brings a proposition of a transfer and presentation of different formsof reception of knowledge about witchcraft trials and court cases on harmful magic andwitches from Czech land in medieval and early modern period. First part of the paper isbased on the Writing of the wandering (Lat. Hodoporicon) by German Benedictine monkJohannes Butzbach (1477–1516). Second part consists of observations about demonologywritings and books and treaties on magic from the 16th and 17th centuries Czech bookcollections. Third part of the paper includes analysis of magical delinquency from Czechlands in the 16th and 17th centuries. Court cases from Higher Court in Prague from secondand third decade of the 17th century are discussed here
