Summary/Abstract: Studying the Second World War in Yugoslavia is a demanding undertaking for a researcher. Fragmentation of Yugoslav territory, formation of occupation zones and occupation administration, the presence of a large number of different military formations in a small space, are just some of challenges with which the historian must “catch up cost. " Although it is the period of the Second World War a topic on which a huge number of books have been written, the passage of time obliges to start re-research, to re-examine the previous ones knowledge, opening new issues and making conclusions based, above all, unpublished archival material.
