Genre littéraire ou paralittéraire ? Les enjeux de la chronique au Portugal
A literary or a paraliterary genre? Some issues on the Portuguese crónica

Summary/Abstract: Taking into account that the crónica has been considered as a less important or marginal genre that vacilates between fiction and reality, literature and mediatic discourse, this text focuses on the evolution of this genre in the Portuguese literary panorama, with reference to three main aspects: the importance of urban thematic and mediatic discourse, the political issues related to the genre, and its documentarist and testimonial features.
