SYMBOL – JEAN LUPU CHILDREN’S AND YOUTH CHOIR OF THE ROMANIAN ORTHODOX PARTIARCHATE: 30 YEARS OF PROMOTING ROMANIAN ART AND SPIRITUALITY

Summary/Abstract: This autumn, Symbol Children’s and Youth Choir of the Romanian Patriarchate, led by teacher and deacon Jean Lupu and Associate Professor Dr Luminiţa Guţanu Stoian, celebrated 30 years of activity in promoting the Romanian art and spirituality. This remarkable anniversary was marked around the date of 18 September by the launch of the book "The Symbol Choir - 30 years in the service of Music, Church and Country", whose author is the father and founder of the choir, teacher and deacon Jean Lupu, book which was published with the blessing of Patriarch Daniel of Romania at Basilica Press, but also by the launch of the 17th CD, “We Bring News”.
