Summary/Abstract: Psychological intimidation (Mobbing) is a phenomenon that has been frequently seen in recent years and has attracted the attention of researchers. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of mobbing on employee satisfaction and life satisfaction. In this context, a questionnaire was applied to the employees of a private bank operating in Konya. The questionnaire consists of four sections and a total of 54 questions; personal information form, mobbing scale, job satisfaction scale and life satisfaction scale. According to the results of the study, the average of the bank employees' opinions about psychological intimidation in the workplace was (min: 1, max: 5) 1.78 ± 0.79; the average of the opinions about job satisfaction was (min: 1, max: 5) 3.56 ± 0.71 and the average of the opinions about life satisfaction was (min: 1, max: 5) 3.37 ± 0.86. According to the results of the study, a negative correlation was found between mobbing and the satisfaction of work and life (p <0.01). In addition, it was seen that mobbing explained the part of job satisfaction and life satisfaction. In order to prevent mobbing in organizations, it is necessary to define mobbing correctly and timely, to establish policies on an institutional basis, and to train employees and managers on this issue.
