Summary/Abstract: This study aims to provide a theoretical framework on the implicit role of the executive personal values in building and implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policies in corporations. From this point of view, primarily the current concept and content of CSR is examined. Afterwards, the recent studies and their results establishing the critical link between personal values and CSR are included. Finally, it is tried to support the proposal that corporations are the reflection of their executives and CSR is a managerial value before its “corporateness”.
