Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes and compares actual moral and philosophical problems of the relationship between man and nature in the works by I. Ptashnikov “Mstizhi” and V. Karamazov “Pushcha”. The concept of man and nature reveals moral and philosophical content of the literary works. Their images, characters, narrative strategies have been compared. The author of the article describes typological convergence and genre-style specificity of the writers, who put forward the idea of morality and responsibility of every person and society for the environment.
