Summary/Abstract: The poetry of French surrealistic poet Robert Desnos in a book Spevobáje a spevokvety (Storysongs and Flowersongs) tends to association, intellectual and sensual playfulness. The aim of the text is to introduce and interpret his poetry for children using Feldek´s translation of the principle. It means not to translate the words, verses or poems but to bring the feeling from the poetry to the audience, to translate an association. In this sense, there are examples of poetics with language analogies, metaphors, semantics and humor in the rest of the contribution.
