Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the role and importance of personal development ofhuman resources in the context of organizational change in the pre-universityeducation system. Personal development is essential to all actors involved inthe educational act and causes changes from the individual level to theorganizational level. The teacher has to cope with all the confrontations thattake place in the process of change at the organizational and educationallevel, but also in the relationships with others as well as with oneself.
