Summary/Abstract: This research focuses on the study of the verbal configuration of narrative fiction and the duplication between the speech of the enunciator and the speech of the character. We focus on the implementation of the fictional narrative configuration and the relationship between time and narrative. Fiction and reality intersect in nothombian autobiographical and autofictional writings. The configurations of time are characterized by the world of storytelling and the world told. The analysis aims to demonstrate the manipulations of time in Nothomb’s work.
