Language Criticism at Bataille or The Research of a Lost Authenticity

Summary/Abstract: Important twentieth century’s writer, Georges Bataille condemns the lying discourse. In his opinion, language is treacherous because it defines and locks perception and reality. It has the ability to deepen communication between people. The common language denies ontological complexity and deprives of reality. Bataille explains this weakness: one cannot communicate with authenticity. So, the role of literature and of the writer is to transgress this lie: they have to show authenticity against the limitation of language. Thus, the writer can create a new literature, capable of transforming the real and of overcoming language problems of communication.
