Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with the problem of the phenomenon of political correctness and its impact on the modern linguistic communication. Political correctness (PC) is regarded in the present article as a one of discursive practices that regulate the manner of naming, which arise out of a particular way of perception and representing the world. The „misnaming” individuals and groups dominate the modern public relations and communication and therefore in fact the rule of speech represents principally the rule of silence / not speaking.
