apturing the “Time Lapse” of a Media Organization through Oral History. The Territorial TV Studio TVR Cluj 1990-2015

Summary/Abstract: The present study is based on the recollections of those employees of the territorial studio from Cluj of the Romanian Television, who were already actively involved in the life and work of the institution at the moment of its establishment or immediately afterwards. The study is meant to define the roles of said TV broadcaster institution relying on oral history. To gather the necessary data, the researcher looked through personal interviews recorded for previous anniversary broadcasts. These were methodologically categorized, analyzed, and as final conclusions some roles were highlighted, the credibility of which is supported by the recollections of the staff of the institution.
