Security – a multidimensional concept

Summary/Abstract: The concept most often used with security analyses, in the context of a globalized world, is that of human security. It is useful to point out the different as well as the common elements of the various concepts of security, while also showing to what extent they are included in, or add to or make up the concept of human security. At the same time, the latter refers to the security of individuals and communities, in direct relationship with human rights.
