Summary/Abstract: This paper tries to present a segment of the globalization processes’ complex impact on the modern world. In this assembly are interconnected social, political, cultural and, above all, economical dimensions. Negative components of the globalization are frequently stressed out, especially throughout the economical chain of events which are taking place in strongly two folded world. This paper attempts to analyse relations between a local community and environment by noting that specificity of some indigenous community depends mostly on the environment. If the environment is destroyed in the name of economical reasons, especially if this is done to the extent of inability of biological functioning, it is very likely that the cultural concepts of a certain community will be destroyed, as well. The main question of this paper remains open: can the philosophy say something about these processes?
