Summary/Abstract: This paper discusses the usage of the adjectives magnetni and magnetski (both translated into English as magnetic) in the standard Croatian language in regard to the system of derivation of adjectives. Additionally, the paper discusses the distribution of the synonymous suffixes -ni and -ski.
