Summary/Abstract: The primary focus of this article is on the travels through several established European cultural centres (Greece, Italy and Czechoslovakia) through the 1920s and 30s. The modern man in Bulgarian interwar literature takes the role of a receptive subject of different foreign cultures that gains through the process of familiarization and reflection a global or European sight to the world.
