20 years later... – a bibliographic analysis of “Biuletyn Szadkowski” 2001–2020

Summary/Abstract: It has been 20 years since the first volume of “Biuletyn Szadkowski” was published. The article provides a synthetic history and description of this periodical: the initiative to launch an interdisciplinary journal devoted to Szadek region, composition of the editorial staff and board of editors, authors of the contributions and a bibliographic analysis of the articles including their classification into main thematic groups. Broadly understood historical studies are the most numerous thematic group. There also are many biographical works presenting the lives and activities of people connected with Szadek, and articles addressing spatial development topics. Other contributions published in ‘Biuletyn’ are devoted to the natural environment and cultural heritage of this region, and local/regional socio-economic structures.
