Summary/Abstract: Tarikh-e Raqim was written by Mir Sayed Shareef Samarqandi. He was born in Samarqand but his birth and death dates are unknown. His book is about the history of Central Asia in the late XVI century and early XVII century. He mentioned especially the death dates of emperors, kings, viziers, poets, scholars, and Sufis in his book by short information and the poems. These poems include their death dates in abjad. This book informs us about the struggles of Sheybanis with Safavids and Timurids. There is information about Baburis, the buildings of some mosques, libraries, and the geography of Central Asia, Iran, and India. Tarikh-e Raqim is one of most important resource for the understanding of the history of Central Asia and the life of this geography in the late XVI century and early XVII century. In this article, the introducing of this book is aimed to the academic world in Turkey.
