Summary/Abstract: It is surprising that there are very few studies examining the results of family motivation, although employees' support and care about their families is the main reason why many people work in Turkish society. The purpose of the current study is to examine the mediating effect of stress on the work performance relationship of family motivation. With this aspect, this study aims to fill this gap in the literature. In the study, this mediation hypothesis was tested in healthcare workers by using the Process Macro program developed by Hayes (2018). As a result of the study, it was determined that family motivation increased work performance by reducing stress. As a result of the study, it was concluded that supporting a family provides a strong source of motivation that can increase performance in the workplace. This finding provides meaningful implications for research on motivation and work dynamics and family involvement. The findings confirm that reducing the stress factors of healthcare professionals and improving the family feelings of healthcare professionals has a positive effect on job performance.
