Summary/Abstract: The story of Creation of the woman in the Bible is controversial subject throughout the centuries. The history of philosophy and theology shows the development of different doctrines and teachings about this subject. In the teaching of saint pope John Paul II the very fundament of women’s dignity is actualized in the XX century. Parallel with Christian view, some aspects of Jewish approach by philosopher Emmanuel Levinas will be analyzed. The theology of the Creation proposes some answers to feminism discussions and problems.
