Summary/Abstract: The goal of the present article is the analysis of the particularities of the form and the componistic language of the Concerto nr. 2 by Oleg Negruța, author of numerous instrumental concertos, especially for wind instruments. The composer fully proves the technical and artistic potential of the horn that demonstrates various effects and performing means. The monopartite structure and the reduced volume of Concerto nr. 2 compared to Concerto nr.1 are just a few aspects that distinguish it from the latter. The specific musical language and the influence of pop music can be observed, offering the work an original character.
