THE SPECTATOR IN THE DIGITAL PERFORMATIVE SPACE

Summary/Abstract: The advent of the Internet implies and activates a new relationship between theater and technology, in which technical invention is not only used as a tool in shaping performance, but is the basic platform on which performance is achieved. It is about the so-called phenomenon of internet / digital / online theater or also called cyberformance. The focus of this research is the question of what is the position of the viewer in such digital / virtual theater experience. To answer the question, this study will first try to define and analyze the digital performance space.
