Summary/Abstract: The author analyzes the forms of urban imagination in the prose of Vladimir Sharov. It is assumed that Vladimir Sharov did not seek to construct images of the city objectively in his prose. The author believes that V. Sharov's prose became a form of imitation, simulation, construction or parody of the city as a form of space and landscape organization. It is presumed that urban images in V. Sharov's prose are intertextual and connected with other forms of intellectual activities. The author believes that V. Sharov rejected faith in progress and did not recognize the universality of the progressive role of the city in the historical process. In general, the author believes that historical revisionism became the universal form of urban imagination in V. Sharov prose, because the author inspired new intellectual practices and strategies of deconstruction of the city through the construction and deconstruction of its urban spaces.
