Summary/Abstract: The paper presents selected summary of the survey results carried out via questionnaire among workers in residential social services facilities. The aim of the research was to identify, analyze and interpret the current situation in the area of partner relationships, intimacy and sexuality of people with intellectual disabilities from the perspective of workers in residential social services in the Czech Republic through quantitative data collection techniques (questionnaires). In this context,to identify whether and how the issue and attitudes to examined issue have evolved and changed over the last 15 years and to find out whether there is a statistically significant link between the significant factors that could influence attitudes of the individual to sexuality and sexual awareness, views of respondent and the actual implementation of support in this area. The examined set thus consisted of 351 respondents. This paper defines firstly the basic terms, and then the methodological basis of the research, a presentation on the results of the research and conclusions. It can be stated that many changes and shifts have occurred in the area of access to partnerships for people with intellectual disabilities. Some of them are concretized in the paper.
