Summary/Abstract: The subject of the article is the issue of admissibility of appointing a voyt [Polish: wójt; a head of a commune/governor of a group of villages in Poland] (mayor, city president) in commercial companies. Changes in the provisions of local government laws extending the prohibition of linking positions by persons performing the functions of executive bodies indicated therein were not developed in correlation with the provisions of the anti-corruption law. In practice, this causes many doubts about the relationship between the bans introduced by individual normative acts. The author comes to the conclusion that the anti-corruption act is a lex specialis law in relation to local government acts.
