Analysis of the Development and Application of A Methodical Tool for the Study Course “Creating Hypertext Systems”

Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with the analysis of the practical development and application of the methodical tool for the study course “Creating Hypertext Systems” in the curriculum in Utena College. Analysis of the tool mostly widely used in the virtual learning environment in Lithuania and abroad is provided in the paper. Limitations, which promoted the development of a specific environment for the study course “Creating Hypertext Systems”, are analysed. Requirements for the methodical tool to perform defined functions are proposed. The paper acquaints with the aspects of practical implementation of the tasks covered by the developed methodical tool and provides the results of trialling and assessing the installed tool.
