Summary/Abstract: This study starts from the observation that learners of the basic cycle in Algeriado not really develop a spelling skill in learning the French language and even less an active spellingvigilance. This despite the sum of the orthographic knowledge transmitted to them and their perfectmastery of the orthographic rules in force. Thus, we are interested in Graphic Negotiation Workshopsas a didactic tool which emphasizes dialogue and debate between students, aims to develop an activespelling skill and vigilance.
