Summary/Abstract: This contribution focuses on the teaching practices of teachers of French as aforeign language at the end of the primary cycle. We have found that the they encounter constraints intheir teaching process which hinder the implementation of the intercultural approach, even thoughthere is sometimes a real awareness of the issue. Thus, the analysis will focus in particular on theseobstacles, put in parallel with their degree of consciousness to seek to detect what correlation couldexist between the two factors based on the data from the questionnaires. The study is qualitative andis part of the sociodidactic approach.
