Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the present article is to investigate the stylistic-syntactic realization of the subject subordinate clause, be it pronominal or conjunctional, in old Romanian, in order to highlight some structure peculiarities which had been abandoned or had undergone considerable constraints in the current language, and, thus, referring both to regent elements and relational elements recorded in the analysed corpus: one of the Moldavian chronicles from the 18th century - The Chronicle of the Country of Moldavia - written by Ion Neculce between 1733 -1745.
